  Crow How Country Guest House  Ambleside Lake Windermere Our trip included a 2 night stay at Crow How, the location was ideal for us as it was very quiet, scenic and only a 10 minute walk or 3-5 minute car journey to Ambleside town centre.  Everything appeared to be well kept and it was nicely furnished. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and made for a good nights sleep, that combined with the very quiet surroundings.  Breakfast offered a nice variety with cereals, fruit, yogurt, Granola and a number of hot options, we had the full English which was very good.   All the staff were polite, friendly and efficient. Vasia Resort and Spa  Sissi, Lasithi, Greece.  Located around 39KM from Heraklion airport (30 minute drive) Vasia is well worth the transfer time.  We really liked the hotel, furnishings were to a high standard, relaxed atmosphere, very good quality food with a good selection.  We really enjoyed eating out on the terrace for all our meals.  There are 3 specialty restaurants, Greek, International and Italian, we ate at the Italian restaurant on the roof top which was very nice, catches the sunset and ambience of the area beautifully.  The staff were friendly and very accommodating.  There are 2 main pools for everyone and a quiet pool near our apartment which was really nice when we just wanted to relax and be by ourselves.  The little harbour and town are very nice and scenic, you can take in the sunset, relax and just be content.  No real beach to enjoy, we used the free shuttle to their sister hotel around 15 minutes away which had a small ...
