If hiking with an amazing view is your hobby? Lake Windermere is a must, combine it with somewhere comfy and relaxing to stay in Ambleside.

Crow How Country Guest House  Ambleside Lake Windermere Our trip included a 2 night stay at Crow How, the location was ideal for us as it was very quiet, scenic and only a 10 minute walk or 3-5 minute car journey to Ambleside town centre.  Everything appeared to be well kept and it was nicely furnished. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and made for a good nights sleep, that combined with the very quiet surroundings.  Breakfast offered a nice variety with cereals, fruit, yogurt, Granola and a number of hot options, we had the full English which was very good.   All the staff were polite, friendly and efficient. There was a communal lounge with nice decor and comfortable furnishings, there are also a number of seating areas / options outside to relax and enjoy the countryside and views.  Our activities included walking up to Stock Ghyll Force.   https://www.visitcumbria.com/amb/stock-ghyll-force/ We started from the Crow How and made our way t...

A number of these cars are in immaculate condition with very interesting stories attached to them.  With so many cars, its difficult to take good photos, as space is restricted, but I hope you enjoy the ones that I took and that you go along to enjoy the cars for yourself.  A personal favourite of mine is the 2.8 injection Ford Capri, in pristine cond...
