Albrighton Hall Hotel and Spa  Albrighton Hall Hotel and Spa is located in Shrewsbury in Shropshire, we visited as part of a spa day /  night away deal including dinner and breakfast. My wife and I found it to be a lovely relaxing and peaceful stay, with good food ( great breakfast ) and excellent cocktails. (the staff had created their own, the Lady Like is a must try)  The tranquil setting, made for a very nice environment, too switch off and enjoy the short break.  Albrighton is a mix of period style furnishings and modern decor depending on which area you are in, we found it very comfy, warm and inviting.  Prices were very reasonable for food and drink.  Highlights  - Good food ( excellent breakfast)  - Comfy, spacious, traditional in style, large bedroom with en-suite  - Overall decor  - Cocktails  - Thermal (spa)room  - Quiet and peaceful atmosphere and surroundings  - Friendly and efficient staff  - Gym  N...

A nice night away with the lady.                       The Cornwall Hotel and Spa         St Austell Cornwall My first stay and many since have all been due to business trips. It is a lovely hotel, comfy, well furnished with good food. The pool is very nice with a good view through the large windows all along one side, looking out onto the grounds, a very nice touch. The area also has a sauna, steam room and mini spa pool. There is also a gym, which had various machines, weights and other equipment, for a relatively small area it was well equipped.  The location is secluded enough to give you the out of town feel, without being miles out of the way, it was very quiet, peaceful and I always feel very relaxed and content.  On most occasions I choose to have my evening meal at the hotel and the standard is always very good this is the same for breakfast, I have never had any complaints.
