Looking for a relaxing Hotel with a spa in Cornwall? Relaxation and comfort are part of the package.

The Cornwall Hotel and Spa         St Austell Cornwall My first stay and many since have all been due to business trips. It is a lovely hotel, comfy, well furnished with good food. The pool is very nice with a good view through the large windows all along one side, looking out onto the grounds, a very nice touch. The area also has a sauna, steam room and mini spa pool. There is also a gym, which had various machines, weights and other equipment, for a relatively small area it was well equipped.  The location is secluded enough to give you the out of town feel, without being miles out of the way, it was very quiet, peaceful and I always feel very relaxed and content.  On most occasions I choose to have my evening meal at the hotel and the standard is always very good this is the same for breakfast, I have never had any complaints. Have you heard of Bouldering? Flashpoint in Bristol's facility has walls for all capabilities, individuals, families and fulfills those of us that need a workout fix.

Bouldering   I f you are new to bouldering as we were, its basically rock climbing without the guide and safety ropes which for us is a lot more fun and less restrictive. You can spend more time climbing and trying out different grips, gradients and angles.  The area is very large, spread over 2 floors, with padded mats below for safety, something for all levels (we are both in our 40’s), families and children are catered for so don't be afraid to go along and give it a try. It’s a nice atmosphere with plenty of room, lots of different walls and courses to try. The changing and showering facilities are quite small though, so be prepared to have to wait, but don’t worry there is a cafe with Coffee, hot and cold food available.  Non member costs are £15.00 per session which has no time limit for that day (opening and closing hours apply),  £3.50 for climbing boot rental  Training and coaching sessions are available for booking.  There is a waiver to sign befo...
