Looking for a Kos beach holiday Casa Paradiso is well worth a look

  Grecotel Casa Paradiso Pyli, Marmari, Kos, Greece  We booked through Jet2, for 1 week, in October half term, we have always had a good experience with Jet2 and this time was no different, transfers to the hotel from Kos Airport were advertised as an hour max, but perhaps being end of season, there was only our hotel and 1 other, so total duration was 25 minutes.  We received a warm welcome from the reception staff on arrival, who took our bags and delivered them to our room for us once we had checked in. The facilities included, but not limited too. - Pool and table football  - 2 x water slides 🛝  - 2 x pools  - A very Sandy, scenic and beautiful beach, a 2-minute walk from the pool and snack facilities. (Pedalos and Kayaks on the beach are included in your holiday / all-inclusive price, not that we took advantage of these)  - Inside and outside gym - Outside Cinema - Tennis courts  - Sand pit and mini play park for small children  - Kids ...

Beaumaris Castle - The last of King Edwards I (Longshanks)Welsh Castles T he last of King Edward 1’s, 4 mighty castles located in North Wales. (Anglesey) T he castle was designed by the Savoyard mason Master James of Saint George Beaumaris was built from 1295 CE (r.   1272-1307 CE) to protect his territorial gains in the region . The castle featured the latest defensive designs of the period such as round towers, inner and outer circuit walls, massive towered gates and a fortified dock. It was never finished due to lack of funds and trouble brewing in Scotland so King Edwards resource and focus shifted. It was on my bucket list for quite some time (due to Covid amongst other things) before I got to visit and the wait was worth it. Even though it’s not finished, it’s magnificent. Almost symmetrical and very heavily fortified, with its position on the banks of the River Seiont, it’s very impressive. Ive visited all 4 now, I haven’t been inside Harlech as it was closed when we visited...
