County Classic Motor Museum
52 North St, Taunton TA1 1ND
If your first car was a Capri, a Mini or an Escort, you will feel plenty of nostalgia, when you visit County Classic.
Located on the high street in the centre of Taunton, from the outside, the museum is not obvious and is quite unassuming.
On the inside however its another story, with 3 levels packed with cars, bikes and a Café, it is certainly impressive with lots to see.
There are cars from all eras, but the majority of the cars are every day cars, from the 70's, 80's, and 90's, several cars I owned back in the day.
A number of these cars are in immaculate condition with very interesting stories attached to them.
With so many cars, its difficult to take good photos, as space is restricted, but I hope you enjoy the ones that I took and that you go along to enjoy the cars for yourself.
A personal favourite of mine is the 2.8 injection Ford Capri, in pristine condition, its a rare example.
Depending on which day to decide to visit there are car parks located at various locations, outlined on the 2 links below, if you visit on a Sunday, you can take advantage of one of the side streets that are free to park on Sundays, if you can find a space.
