Live in or near to Gloucester? Try out the Jetage Museum something for all the family.

Jetage Museum Family Day Out Gloucester UK- March 2024  What a nice afternoon out, located in Gloucester, and easy to get too, the museum wasn’t huge, but it had enough to entertain the family with some nice exhibits.  The museum is run by volunteers so the atmosphere is very friendly and informative. It’s also free to enter, donations are welcome.  There is a small cafe on site, with toilets, a picnic area and a view of the airport next door so that everyone can enjoy the various aircraft’s landing and taking off.  I recommend the tours of the Vulcan and Trident Cockpits, very interesting, surprising and insightful. Definitely worth a visit to enjoy and support this local facility. Thinking about Lostwithiel Cornwall? Check out our best 10 attractions including Spectacular Beaches with photographs.

Location, Location, Location   This visit to Cornwall was a business trip, so we chose The Fowey Valley Hotel in Lostwithiel due to its ideal location for us, although Lostwithiel is a small town it’s location is well positioned if you plan on visiting the local scenic quaint harbours and beaches.  The Fowey Valley is a very reasonably priced hotel with good facilities, and comfortable furnishings, the food was very good, both the evening meal and breakfast with a good selection.                              We found the staff very efficient friendly and accommodating. There is plenty of free parking on site, but make sure you remember to register your car at reception to avoid fines.  We visited the following places before we ran out of time. - Looe, 26 minute drive - Polkerris, 15 minute drive ( a lovely place to enjoy a warm evening either in the Rashleigh Arms...
